The role
Deep Play sells software as a product and as a build: BillMint for everyday billing, and custom web or mobile systems for operators who have outgrown spreadsheets and generic tools. This role is for someone who can talk to a café, clinic or retailer without turning the meeting into a pitch deck.
What you will do
- Find and qualify businesses that need billing, operations or customer-facing software.
- Run first conversations: what is going wrong today, what a useful first release would be, and whether Deep Play is a fit.
- Explain BillMint and studio software work in plain language. Do not oversell scope.
- Keep a clean record of leads, next steps and reasons a conversation stopped.
- Hand a qualified brief to the studio with enough context that engineering is not guessing.
What we are looking for
- You are comfortable speaking to owners and operators, not only marketing teams.
- You can tell the difference between a live product sale, a scoped build and a conversation that should wait.
- You write short, useful follow-ups. You do not send empty sequences.
- Experience selling software, services or operational tools to SMEs is useful. A large-enterprise SDR background is not required.
- UK East Midlands or Kerala market knowledge is an advantage. Fluent English is required.
What we offer
- A real product and a real services pipeline, not a cold script with nothing behind it.
- Direct access to the people who design and ship the work you are selling.
- Leicester or Thiruvananthapuram as a base, with remote work across the UK and India.
